1. Rolling resistance

The chemical composition of the polyurethane material determines that it has lower rolling resistance than rubber.

2. Buffering capacity

The cushioning capacity of the caster is directly related to the hardness of the caster. The hardness of rubber is usually 65-75 degrees Shore A, while the hardness of polyurethane is 83-95 degrees , Because of the higher hardness of polyurethane casters, the cushioning capacity is poor.

3. Carrying capacity

The load-bearing capacity of polyurethane casters is about twice that of rubber casters. Polyurethane casters have superior resistance to crack growth, tear resistance, and anti-chipping performance. Rubber wheels often suffer from such problems and early damage.

4. Wear resistance

Rubber casters are soft and comfortable, but not as wear-resistant as polyurethane casters. Generally, polyurethane casters have four times the wear resistance of rubber casters.
